Our latest concept to revolutionise joinery by moving away from common materials like standard MDF, HPL, and LPL.

Environmentally responsible joinery

Cutting corners in joinery can cost you in the long run – in more ways than one. Standard MDF contains
high levels of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen that continues to emit toxic gases long after
installation. Additionally, HPL and LPL are petrochemical-based plastics. These materials continue to
have a negative impact, but there is a solution.

Free by Ultra embraces eco-friendly and sustainable materials, including 'no added formaldehyde' MDF and plywood, along with a diverse range of veneers. We've also replaced plastic feet with plywood plinths across all our cabinetry lines, and utilise natural oils or water-based finishes to reduce our environmental impact.

Promote healthier homes, retain great craftsmanship that doesn’t cut corners, and support a greener
New Zealand – without breaking the bank. Ready to find your perfect fit?
